Bass Coast Shire Council is now accepting Expressions of Interest to exhibit at the Light Box Lane, an outdoor gallery for sound and image located at The Union, Wonthaggi.

Light Box Lane Vision

The western lane of the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre is a place of cultural expression and experimentation where artists present new work and test combinations of image and sound. It brings life to the streets of Wonthaggi and offers our community experiences of discovery and enjoyment, of beauty, awe, joy and wonder that challenge or transcend the everyday.

Please read the Light Box Lane Exhibitors Information Pack to find out more about applying for an exhibition. Applications from exhibitors of all abilities are welcome, if you would like an alternative way of applying, please contact the Visual Arts Officer.

Applications close at midnight Sunday 27th April, 2025

Two successful exhibition applications will be programmed for 2026.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their proposal by email within six weeks of the application deadline by 8 June 2025.
