Bass Coast Shire Council (BCSC) and South Gippsland Shire Council (SGSC) are partnering to deliver a Community Leadership Program (the Program). The Program will span several months and will focus on leadership development and skills enhancement. The Program has been designed to inspire our emerging leaders by enhancing your abilities, and empowering you to make positive impacts on your life and in your communities.
The Program is an intensive 6 session program commencing on 14 March 2026 and finishing with on 30 May 2026. The sessions will be held in locations across South Gippsland and Bass Coast
This program is fully funded by both Councils so there will be no cost for participants. We will select up to 26 diverse community leaders from across our shires through an application and interview process. As places are limited only one applicant per community group/organisation is eligible for selection.
Please note: employees of Bass Coast or South Gippsland Shire Councils are not eligible to apply.
To ensure a successful program, participants are expected to apply with the intention of attending all sessions.
Applications will be accepted until 13 February 2026. The selection panel will review all applications and you will be contacted for a group interview on 25 February. All successful applicants will be notified no later than 27 February 2026.
