Before you begin

If this is your first time using SmartyGrants, click Start a Submission, then Register here to create an account.

Completing your application

• Save your application regularly as you work.
• You can move between pages and sections using the Navigation Panel or the Next and Previous buttons.
• If you need to finish later, click Save and Close. Your draft will be available under My Submissions when you log back in.
• Supporting documents must be saved on your computer before uploading. Individual files can be up to 25MB, although files under 5MB are recommended for faster uploads.

Submitting your application

Before submitting, review your application and ensure all required questions have been completed.

Once you click Submit, you will no longer be able to edit your application or upload additional documents. If you do need to access the application again contact the Grants Officer.

A successful submission will display a confirmation screen and you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your application. If you do not receive these, your application has NOT been submitted.

Hint: also check the email hasn't landed in your spam or junk email folder.

Helpful tips

• Your session will automatically time out after 20 minutes of inactivity, so remember to save your work regularly.
• If you have created a SmartyFile Organisation a number of people can collaborate on a submission but only one person can work on it at a time.
